compressed gas disposal
I have a large amount of full Nitrous Oxide cans that have been cleared for disposal by the State. How are you disposing of these items? Landfill was not a help; my Sanitation Manager is at a loss as well. They suggested I sit there and empty the cans, then they will take them ( I have a large trash can full of them).

I work in the same county as Shannon, and we do the same. We also have a company called Boggs Gases that sometimes will take compressed airs for disposal. Perhaps you can search in your area for something similar?
