Battery/Lighter/Explosive item Policy and Procedure
Our incineration facility won't accept lithium batteries, lighters, nitrous containers etc. In the past, my agency has not enforced officers to remove these items. What is everyone's policies and procedures on accepting/denying batteries, lighters, explosives, etc.?
Do you know if there are any legalities against this that may affect charges and court proceedings? How would they dispose of it properly? For items that cannot be separated, such as disposable THC vape pens or lighters, what would be the proper way of storing them, if at all?
