PEAF Educational Conference – Vendor Information  DUE TO COVID-19 THE 2020 CONFERENCE HAS BEEN CANCELED

The Educational Conference provides our members an opportunity to network, share, and obtain current information from professionals in Criminal Justice. We promote the professionalism of property and evidence personnel and the high standards of performance needed to accomplish each task. Our educational conference this year will be held in Daytona Beach at the Daytona Beach Resort on May 18-20, 2020 . We have professionals from the State of Florida providing valuable information on best practices for managing evidence and related topics.

VENDOR SCHEDULE

 

VENDOR MEETING:       7:00 a.m. – Monday

BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS:  Assignment of booth spaces will be made by PEAF in order to assure vendors of similar products will not be next to each other.  Changes will only be made by the Conference Planner.

DOOR PRIZE/VENDOR DRAWINGS:  Door prizes and vendor drawings will be given away prior to the afternoon break on Tuesday and at the banquet Tuesday night.  Be sure to let your Conference Planner know what you will be doing as a door prize and/or other drawing.

HOTEL INFORMATION:  The PEAF rate is $125.00 plus tax.  It is your responsibility to make your own room reservations, but remember to book under the PEAF room block to get the PEAF rate.  Upgrade rates to “ocean front” are $135.00 and “ocean front suites” are $165.00 respectively. You can do so on-line at www.peaf.net

HOTEL SHIPPING/ RECEIVING AND STORAGE   —Small package delivery (50 lbs. or less) will be accepted no more than two (2) days prior to the meeting date. The service charge for handling is $5.00 per box in and out. Packages received over two (2) days prior to delivery will be subject to an additional $4.00 per box storage fee per day. Arrangements for the unloading of freight trucks must be coordinated by the event planner. When shipping materials to the hotel, please use the following format/address:

Grant Program:  PEAF once again has our “Grant Program”.  Grant can be used for equipment, supplies or special need of an agency in the property/evidence room.   The maximum amount for each grant application is $500.00.  Agencies may submit more than one grant application, which will first be reviewed by the Executive Board of PEAF to ensure the agency and application is eligible for the grant.   Vendors will review the grant applications submitted without knowing which agency has submitted the application.  Grant awards will be selected by the Vendors at the Monday vendor meeting.
